Heta eventually edges past Hunt, Noppert marks European Tour return with Harrysson win

Damon Heta and Danny Noppert are the latest players into the final day at the 2021 Gibraltar Darts Trophy as the second round continues.

Noppert marked his return to European Tour action in an important game for his European Championship qualification.

'The Freeze' unfortunately had to withdraw from Budapest after the passing of his father but returned with a 6-2 success over Andreas Harrysson with a 94 average and a high checkout of 108.

While Heta eventually got over the line against Adam Hunt. He missed match darts for a 6-1 win but escaped a mini comeback from 'The Hunter' to win through 6-3.

This with three 180's and a high checkout of 158 along the way as the seeds reign supreme in this instance at Europa Point.
