Heta produces brilliance on European Tour debut with whitewash win over Barnard, Humphries dumped out by Huybrechts

The action continues at the Belgian Darts Championship with three more winners through to the second day of action in Hasselt.

Among them is Damon Heta who produced the best display so far in thrashing Michael Barnard in a 6-0 whitewash. 'The Heat' was making his European Tour debut and did not disappoint hitting a 102 average alongside 60 percent on the doubles.

All with two 180's to boot compared to his opponent who averaged just over 20 less than the Brisbane Darts Master spurning all five opportunities at double as Heta announced himself in style.

Speaking of in style, Ronny Huybrechts was a surprising but emphatic winner against Luke Humphries - who could just not get going at all.

It was a 6-1 win for 'The Rebel' who pounced on just an 82 average and 12.5 percent on the doubles to the delight of the fledgling crowd inside the arena and he will next face man of the moment, Michael Smith fresh from his nine-dart antics at the Premier League.

Steve Beaton is also through to Round Two after edging past Hong Kong ace Kai Fan Leung. He was 4-3 down against the debutant who has been impressive since winning his Tour Card at Q-School without getting the results but surged in the last quarter of the match to edge through with a high checkout of 118 and 46 percent on the doubles.
