Highest combined PDC match averages so far this season: Wright vs Smith from Players Championship 1 tops the list

Christopher Kempf also known as Ochepedia has compiled a list of the highest combined match averages of 2019 to date this year; with Peter Wright vs Michael Smith topping the list.
This came at Players Championship 1; with Wright and Smith both hitting 110+ averages. Interestingly three out of the five being at these events showing the high standard which is exhibited on the ProTour.
The others came at the World Cup with William O'Connor's brilliance against Rob Cross which got a combined average of 110.86. The other came at the European Grand Prix where Ian White faced Keegan Brown; with the duo hitting an average of 108.96.
It will be interesting to see if this list changes at all with the majority of the majors still to come; or whether the strength of the ProTour will be shown.

- I agree. With the number of tournaments these days?, Phil could probably earn £2 million a year if still playing. I can't believe Chisnall has earned over half a million for being so inept, he barely gets past the first round, stealing a living. That's outrageous.richieburnettrocks26-11-2024
- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
- Only Gary Anderson in MVG’s quarter who should really trouble him assuming he wins his first two games. If he can’t get out of that quarter of the draw he will be hard pushed to win another World Title.Mysstree26-11-2024
