The standard of local qualifiers has got better and better on the World Series in the past few years with players especially in the Australian leg posing a serious threat to the established pros.

In statistics compiled by Ochepedia, the percentages of Individual Nations' success in these events has been revealed. The best is surprisingly Hong Kong; but this is only due to them having 1/4 winning.

That player was Royden Lam who last year defeated Gary Anderson in the Shanghai Darts Masters. Canada are next; with Dawson Murschell claiming three wins on the World Series and as a result carrying their cause.

Australia have the most wins and this was strengthened this time out with Damon Heta winning two first round games during his time on the World Series this year.

Germany and New Zealand round out the two countries with wins in the column. This shows how ahead some of these countries are with the USA, China and Japan not claiming a win in some cases in over a dozen attempts.
