Howson coasts past Jenkins to set up clash with Gulliver at World Seniors Darts Masters

Richie Howson has made his return to the World Seniors stage and is through to a first round clash with Trina Gulliver on Saturday evening.

Howson breezed past Terry Jenkins 4-1 at the World Seniors Darts Masters in an impressive display from 'The Owl' who averaged 88 en route to victory.

It was a superb opener from Howson who produced a 160 checkout in the opening leg before sealing the set with an 84 checkout to breeze out of the traps.

Jenkins opened the next set with a 100 checkout but Howson held and followed that up with a break on double 20 to go 2-0 up. His dominance continued and he looked on his way to victory.

But Jenkins took a set back to put pressure on Howson but he delivered sealing it on double eight to sweep through.
