Luke Humphries beat
Michael van Gerwen 7-0 on Monday evening in the semi-finals of the
German Darts Grand Prix in Munich.
It is only the second time Van Gerwen has tasted a whitewash on the
European Tour with the first dubbed the 'Wrightwash' when Peter Wright achieved it in 2017.
But Humphries was extra special as he became the first player in Van Gerwen's career in the PDC to restrict the Dutchman to only one dart at double in the whole match.
This wasn't surprising given that Humphries hit a 107 average to only 90 from Van Gerwen.
