Luke Humphries has been in superb form for a couple of months now with 'Cool Hand Luke' recently winning four European Tour titles and also produced more good results this week in Barnsley ahead of the
World Matchplay which he will head into as an outside favourite.
Humphries reached the semi-finals in Barnsley, and he also got a spot in the last eight and last sixteen. On Monday he lost in the first round.
"Great, solid weekend on the
pro tour this weekend! played some great games! And got some decent runs going. Got tired towards the end and my performances dipped but rest up now and fully focused for the World Matchplay! Can’t wait to be back at the Winter Gardens," he said on Twitter.
