Huybrechts confident after brilliant White win: "I'm gonna do it, this is my tournament"

Kim Huybrechts continued his resurgence on Monday night with a brilliant win over Ian White to move into the Third Round at the 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship.

Huybrechts spoke afterwards and was in a confident mood about his game and believes he can win the showpiece event.

"I'm over the moon honestly. This is the tournament, these are the games that work for the whole year. When that comes together on that game on that stage then wow what a relief," said Huybrechts post match.

"It felt very good in the beginning. I was dominating the whole game in the beginning and the third set I got so nervous. My hands were like a leaf, my heartbeat was going up and I was thinking Kim if you don't control yourself, you're going to lose the game because Ian is so good. He can put you under pressure all the time and I've been very lucky at some legs."

"I've been practicing the hardest I've ever done in my life. I've played Premier League, I've played 10 World Championships, this is the most effort I've ever put into darts and the best feeling I've had in darts."

"I've never felt like I'm going to do it and here and now at this moment, I'm gonna do it, this is my tournament."
