Cody Harris and
Nico Kurz are among the last six players who qualified for the
German Darts Championship, as two qualification tournaments were being held on Thursday evening.
Hildesheim will host the second European Tour event of the season this weekend. Six spots for this tournament were still on offer on Thursday evening. These spots were available at the qualifiers for German players and PDPA members.
Harris and Huybrechts came through the qualifier for PDPA Associate Members. Huybrechts saw off Ryan Harrington in the final round, while Harris defeated Wesley Plaisier.
Kurz became one of the four winners during the Host Nation Qualifier. Lukas Wenig, Franz Roetzsch and Dragutin Horvat also claimed place in the German Darts Championship.
