Ian White joined the last 32 at the European Darts Open on Friday night by dealing with Gabriel Clemens in fine fashion in the first round.
After seven legs, the score was still 5-2 in Clemens' favour. But White fought his way back into the match with a 77 finish, a 14-darter and a 161 finish. White then decided the match with an 11-darter.
“I don’t know how I pulled that back,” admitted White.
“The crowd were brilliant. They love Gabriel and I understand that, but I just kept going.
“I’m focused. I’m playing my game and that’s what matters. I’d love to go on and win this.”
