Krzysztof Ratajski has made it through to the second round of the
World Series of Darts Finals after a rough start. 'The Polish Eagle' was too strong for Daniel Klose in his opening match, 6-3.
Ratajski soon found himself down 2-0. "Very slow start. I felt very nervous," admitted the 46-year-old Pole in a post-match interview with Online Darts. "That was terrible. Then things got a little better but throughout I was still nervous."
"I feel better when I'm the underdog not the favourite," Ratajski continues. "Here I know I was the favourite because it was a debit for Daniel and I don't know what happened but I will play better."
In the second round, Ratajski will take on Luke Humphries. "I am sure I will play better against him. Luke is one of the best players in the world, so it will be a tough assignment, but I believe in myself. After a difficult first half of the year, I'm back at it."
