James Wade had another simple match at the
European Championship on Saturday. After a win over an injured Dirk van Duijvenbode, he gave Jose de Sousa a 10-1 thrashing.
"It's easy to punch and kick someone when they're down and I punched the crap out of him," Wade responded afterwards to Online Darts. "He was never in the race to be fair."

''I think there was six darts that changed the game and the was the 140 and the 160 checkout. Apart from that it was all mediocre," Wade was referring to the fifth leg in which the Englishman threw out 160 while De Sousa was waiting at 36.
By reaching the quarterfinals in Dortmund, Wade has, at least for now, virtually returned to the top-16 of the world rankings, but that tells 'The Machine' nothing. ''It's completely irrelevant. I have so much to defend in the next few months. I've only got myself to blame for that.''
