"I was so nervous to get my Tour Card back": De Zwaan seals immediate return to PDC Tour with European Q-School glory

'The Black Cobra' Jeffrey de Zwaan will make an immediate return to the PDC Tour after winning on Day Three outright at PDC European Q-School seeing off Maik Kuivenhoven in the final.

For the former World Matchplay semi-finalist, it is relief more than anything that he is back on the PDC Tour.

"It really is a big relief. I played really well today, after the third game I was thinking I can do it. In the final I was so nervous, I played Maik Kuivenhoven fellow countryman and friend. It was really tough to play him, even in the Quarter-Finals I was so nervous to get my Tour Card back and I'm so happy," said De Zwaan to PDC.

"It means really a lot because I was struggling for two and a half years. Mental wise as well, I was thinking am I still capable to do what I did now."

After dealing with injuries for a long time, De Zwaan admitted there is still a bit of pain but it is at its most manageable and he is looking forward to his PDC return.

"The positivity is really back, I'm still playing with a little bit of pain but it's so less that I can play what I'm capable of."
