Lourence Ilagan will form part of the Philippines side at the World Cup Of Darts who will make their return to the competition this year.

Ilagan has Noel Malicdem as his partner with both players leading lights on the PDC Asian Tour. ‘The Gunner’ spoke to DartsNews.com ahead of this and said that he can’t wait to make his country proud.
‘I am totally looking forward to the World Cup and amply prepared to do our country proud!’ said Ilagan to DartsNews.com.
‘Currently based on form I believe our duo is the strongest side from the Philippines,’ he added.
He spoke about the drawing England first round and admitted that its a tough draw, but with no pressure being on them, a shock could happen according to Ilagan.
‘It is indeed a tough draw facing the first seed for our first assignment. Noel and myself having known each other well and familiar with playing doubles though not with each other is a big plus.’
‘If we play at our best, the possibility of knocking out England is there, with no pressure being on us.’

PDC Asian Tour

Like alluded to he’s one of the leading on the PDC Asian Tour and he said about the tour that it’s kept them sharp and is the best thing to happen to Asian Darts.

Q-School

Finally he spoke about Q-School and that eventually he will try to join the tour full time. He wants to prove those right who have said he has what it takes. ‘I have always wanted to try Q-school and I believe when everything falls into place for me I will ultimately decide to, and join the Tour full time.’ ‘Many times I have been told that "I have what it takes" and could do well playing against the Big Boys - I would like a chance to prove them right!’
