In-form Evans extends unbeaten run to nine straight games in Icons of Darts League

Evans has been one of the main standouts so far over the MODUS Live Leagues and is showing that once again.

'Stretch' began his day with a deciding leg win over Darryl Fitton - who is making his debut in the competition this week. He followed that up by turning a 90 average into a 104 when he saw off Paul Nicholson 4-2.

He made it nine in a row with a 97 average in a 4-3 victory over Scott Mitchell as he stretches clear at the top of the standings at the halfway stage of the day.

Paul Nicholson has played one more game than Evans and sits second with two wins and two defeats over the course of today so far.

Darryl Fitton and Scott Mitchell both have one win and three defeats and are the only other players to reach four games so far. Wessel Nijman, Arron Monk and Keelan Kay have played one each so far.
