Johnson whitewashes Hänsch, Dekker and Meulenkamp through with ease at German Darts Championship

The first round continues at the German Darts Championship in Hildesheim with Darren Johnson, Jan Dekker and Ron Meulenkamp picking up victories.

Johnson started off by giving a darting lesson of sorts to his debuting opponent Christopher Hänsch. It was a whitewash win for Dynamite.
Dekker then saw off Darius Labanauskas in a match that was fraught by missed doubles on both sides.
Labanauskas lost his record of winning every first round game and meant that Double Dekker could get an important win on the board.
Finally Ron Meulenkamp produced the performance of the session so far with a 102 average. ‘The Bomb’ always has success on the European Tour and saw off Richard North 6-2.
