Martijn Kleermaker went down against James Wade on Thursday evening at the 2021/22 PDC
World Darts Championship and the Dutch ace was not happy with his game.
"I have no idea how this is possible", he told RTL7Darts. "Practice was good, but on stage there was nothing.
Wade took the first set 3-0 and won the second set 3-1. "You try to keep fighting, you try to find a trigger, but I just couldn't get it from anywhere. It just wasn't there tonight."
Yet Kleermaker acknowledged that the defeat was not only due to his inferior play. "He punished my mistakes with good finishes, that is his quality."
