Much of the field of participants for the CDC Cross-Border Challenge has been announced. This tournament features the best darters from North America.
The field of participants consists of eight American and eight Canadian players. This tournament will take place April 12 and 13, and the draw for the first round will pair an American player with a Canadian darter.
Leonard Gates and Stowe Buntz are among the eight players representing the United States. Also among the American lineup are Doug Boehm, Jason Brandon, Larry Butler, Jules Van Dongen, Danny Lauby and Alex Spellman.
Leading the Canadian representation is darts legend and three-time world champion John Part. Sylvain Bourdeau, David Cameron, Jim Long, Jake Macmillan, Jacob Taylor and Keith Way will also be in action on behalf of Canada. The final Canadian spot will be awarded at a later date.
