Adrian Lewis was handed a tough route at this year's PDC World Darts Championship with Matt Campbell up first and if he gets past the tough international qualifier, Gary Anderson awaits.

Lewis though sees the draw as being tough no matter who he faces in the draw and that in his eyes it's all about getting through no matter who he is put up against.

"Whoever you play, they're all going to be a tough match, aren't they? At the end of the day, it's the World Championship. You're under enough pressure as it is. You don't even think about the opponent - you're just thinking about going up there and trying to get the job done," he said on The Darts Show podcast.

"I don't think you can rest on your laurels. I think you've got to go up there and [think] 'it's a brand new tournament, it's a new year, it's a new beginning'. You've got to try and knuckle down. If you do well in this, you're back in everything next year. So that's how I'm looking at it right now."
