A lot of discussion has been made around Rob Cross' omission from the 2022 Premier League Darts line-up despite winning a ranked major in 2021.
This is a point Colin Lloyd agrees with when debating the Premier League line-up and Joe Cullen's inclusion over Cross.
''The only person really that I can see that would be really aggrieved would be Rob Cross. He has won a ranked major in the last 12 months, being the European Championship," said Lloyd to Sky Sports.
"'He is ranked higher than Joe (Cullen) and he is a former world champion. Listen, we don't make the decisions, it's down to the PDC. I'm sure they will have thought long and hard about it, but it does seem a bit strange that you have announced someone who has won the Masters event. Yes it's TV, but it's not ranked and you have omitted someone who has won a ranked major.''
