Colin Lloyd was part of the Sky Sports team completing the draw on Tuesday; alongside fellow former World Matchplay champion, Rod Harrington and one of the main ties that was picked out was between Adrian Lewis and Glen Durrant.
Lloyd called it the tie of the round; he believes that due to Adrian's lack of form in parts as of late it will be a really good game. He added though that despite the lack of form; that 'Jackpot' will be very much up for it.
‘I think it is the tie of the round,’ Lloyd told Sky Sports. ‘Glen has made the change; come over and blasted up the rankings. He’s got into the
World Matchplay; first TV event for him to qualify for and he’s done it.
‘Adrian has been a bit too hit and miss for my liking and I think it’s going to be a really good game.
‘It is a tough draw for him [Durrant], Adrian is a two-time world champion; but Glen is a proper dart player, he can turn in a 100 average. I just think it’ll be a cracking game, Adrian will be up for it.’
