Lukasiak, Zukovs and Kantele win Euro Tour qualifying tournaments

Last weekend, Euro Tour qualifying tournaments were held for players on the PDC Nordic & Baltic Tour. This circuit is open to darters from the Nordic and Baltic countries.
First, the qualifier for the German Darts Grand Prix (8-10 April) was played. This was won by Oskar Lukasiak, who was too strong for Marko Kantele in the final 6-5.
Then Dmitrijs Zukovs qualified for the Austrian Darts Open (21-23 April) thanks to a 6-4 win over Jani Laurila. Kantele secured a starting spot for the Dutch Darts Championship. The Finn settled with Zukovs in the final.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
