Dirk van Duijvenbode tops the
Players Championship Order of Merit after six Players Championship tournaments. 'Aubergenius' recorded his second tournament victory of the season last Sunday.
The Dutchman is also doing well on the other statistic lists. Van Duijvenbode threw the most 180s during the first six Players Championship tournaments by far; namely 112. Luke Humphries follows close behind with 78, followed by Ross Smith with 72 maximum scores. Incidentally, Belgian Mike de Decker also ranks high in this ranking. He already threw sixty 180-scores, good for fifth place.
The first spot in the ranking of most 100+ finishes is also in the hands of Van Duijvenbode. He already threw a finish of 100 or higher 24 times. The highest combined Players Championship average currently belongs to Jonny Clayton. The Welshman threw an average of 99.31 points during his six appearances.
