Luke Littler has advanced to the final at the expense of
Nathan Aspinall at the tenth round of
Premier League Darts play. Later in the evening, a showdown with the winner of the second semifinal between Michael Smith and Gerwyn Price awaits.
Littler took the initiative in the third leg with a 131 finish in Aspinall's leg. A 14-darter then took the English teenage sensation to 3-1, although Aspinall missed two darts before that for the equalizer. Littler then held the break by throwing a 90 finish in the sixth leg for a 4-2 lead.
A second break followed in the seventh leg with a 136 check-out, but Aspinall then fought back to 4-5 with a 12-darter and an 89 finish. From 76 Aspinall was then allowed to throw for the equalizer, but tops was missed. Littler then won the match 6-4 via double 10.
