Martijn Kleermaker stops temporarily as darting professional

Martijn Kleermaker recently hinted that the Grand Slam of Darts might be his last television tournament for the time being. The Dutch Giant has now made his final decision.

If he has not lost his Tour Card after the upcoming World Darts Championship, Kleermaker will hand it in himself, he told the podcast Double Top. He himself will not be there at the World Darts Championship.

''If you have a Tour Card then you have to go all the way and I can't do that at the moment,'' he justified his choice. Kleermaker recently revealed that he wants to spend more time with his children.
