Nijman who alongside David Evans have shared double wins so far this week had Friday off with every player taking a day off during the week but he has returned well.
He started off by defeating Jenkins in a 5-2 win with a 97 average and 5/8 on the doubles en route in a polished display against a player who himself has displayed excellent form since coming into the League on Day Two.
The Dutch youngster followed that up with another victory over Van Barneveld where it was more about punishing his opponent's mistakes.
Nijman came out a 5-2 winner in the end with Barney down at just 20 percent on his doubles in losing out to his compatriot.
Speaking of players in form, Paul Nicholson recorded his sixth win in a row by smashing Mark Webster in a 5-1 win hitting two ton plus checkouts including a high of 110 en route to seeing off the former Lakeside World Champion who despite hitting two 180's, averaged only 84 with 1/4 on his doubles.
