The final MODUS A Night at the Darts of Week Three has concluded with Wessel Nijman claiming Group Six on leg difference ahead of Kyle McKinstry.
Nijman saw off Martin Adams (5-2), Kyle McKinstry (5-1) and Fallon Sherrock (5-2), with his only defeat coming to Michael Warburton (5-2).
In seeing off Sherrock in his final match, he hit a 98.6 average and three 180's in seeing off 'The Queen of the Palace' which confirmed his spot in second with 26 points.
Not only that but it put the pressure onto Kyle McKinstry who needed a 5-1 or 5-0 win over Martin Adams to finish top. 'The Village Man' took out 81 on the bull for a 12 darter in the decider to defeat 'Wolfie' 5-4 but this meant it wasn't enough as Nijman claimed the honours.
Michael Warburton continued his up turn in form finishing third with four points while Fallon Sherrock and Martin Adams finished fourth and fifth with two points each.
David Evans had already finished top of the table already going into tonight with it being his night off having concluded his campaign last night with 28 points overall.
A Night At The Darts is a competition that runs in conjunction with the Icons of Darts League. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.
Each evening like the day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win.
