Nijman sees off Evans to secure top spot in A Night At The Darts Week Two

Nijman after his initial 4-1 win in his Challenge match with Fallon Sherrock saw off Jason Askew 5-4 to go one step away with the Dutchman needing one more win to make sure that he doesn't get pipped to the post with leg difference still a factor.

He is also potentially on course to claim the final group win with David Evans being his nearest challenger at the moment. Boris Koltsov also remains a factor after claiming his first win of the night over the Dutchman.

In terms of Fallon Sherrock, she is currently sitting at two wins and three defeats tonight so far. After seeing off Jason Askew though, she was edged out by the aforementioned Russian in a 4-3 defeat.

Jason Askew also claimed his first victory of the night in easing past Scott Mitchell 5-1 as we edged towards our conclusion in Week Two.

A Night At The Darts is a competition that runs in conjunction with the Icons of Darts League. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.

Each evening like the day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win.
