Nine players make their debuts at the Players Championship Finals this weekend

The Players Championship Finals is scheduled this weekend in Minehead. The 64 best players of the floor season get to compete in the final major tournament prior to the World Darts Championship.

Nine players will make their first career appearance at the Players Championship Finals. Of these players, Radek Szaganski has earned the highest seeded status. Thanks to winning one of the Players Championship tournaments, the Pole is seeded 26th at the Players Championship Finals.

Also making their debut at this tournament are Connor Scutt, Richard Veenstra, Mario Vandenbogaerde, Chris Landman, Daniel Klose, Lee Evans, Jules van Dongen and Dylan Slevin. Slevin had actually just failed to qualify for the Players Championship Finals, but was still allowed to compete because Danny Noppert withdrew. Noppert's girlfriend is about to give birth.
