Noppert still searching for best form: "I couldn't find the treble. Only the finishing saved me"

Danny Noppert has made an excellent start to the World Matchplay. 'The Freeze' defeated Martin Schindler 10-8 in the opening round.
Despite the win, Noppert was still not entirely satisfied. "I got over the line, that's the most important thing but I couldn't find the treble. Only the finishing saved me."
"I'm disappointed about my game but the last few weeks I'm on my way back. I'm feeling more confident and gave me more power to win this game."
In the next round, Noppert will take on Nathan Aspinall. "Nathan is a great player and also a nice guy. So that's a match I'm definitely looking forward to. Last year I made it to the semifinals here, hopefully I can at least do the same this year."
