Noppert tests positive for COVID-19 after World Darts Championship elimination

Danny Noppert will not yet return to the Netherlands after being eliminated from the PDC World Darts Championship. 'The Freeze' who lost to Ryan Searle on Tuesday tested positive prior to his flight home.

This means that following Raymond van Barneveld, Vincent van der Voort and Michael van Gerwen, Noppert must be quarantined in London before the journey home can be made.

"This has come as a total shock to me as my test was negative prior to my match with Ryan Searle," he said on social media.
