Christian Perez captured his Tour Card for the next two years at the UK
Q-School last week. Perez thus becomes the first Filipino on the Pro Tour.
Perez finished ninth in the UK Q-School rankings to capture his Tour Card. The 40-year-old Filipino is only the fourth Asian with a Tour Card.
First for Lam
Royden Lam was the first to succeed in 2013. The Hong Kong-based darter lost it again a year later, but was successful once more at Q-School in 2017. Once again, however, he failed to retain that Tour Card.
In 2015, Japan's Haruki Muramatsu captured his Tour Card, but he too was only active on the Pro Tour for two years. Finally, in 2020, Kai Fan Leung was successful at Q-School, but like his two Asian predecessors, the adventure ended for him too after two years.
