Christopher Kempf, in charge of all kinds of data and statistics at the PDC, has brought out a new, interesting statistic.
Kempf calculated which PDC Tour Card holder this year threw the most maximum scores (171, 174, 177 and 180) with his first three darts in a leg. Perhaps somewhat surprisingly, we find in first place Mike De Decker. The Belgian threw in 275 legs 42 times with his first three darts a maximum score, good for a percentage of 15.27%.
In second place is Gary Anderson. 'The Flying Scotsman' managed to throw a maximum score 46 times with his first three darts in 311 legs for now, good for a percentage of 14.79%.
The top three is completed by Luke Littler. He already threw many more legs than the first two this year (664) and managed to get a maximum score 98 times with his first three darts. The Nuke' thus ends up with a percentage of 14.76%.
