The second day of the first phase of the European
Q-School was completed yesterday in Kalkar. Only one player achieved an average of above 100 in the process.
That was German Daniel Klose. He won 5-0 against American Alex Spellman in the last 128, posting a 108.91 average. One round later, however, Klose went down 5-1 against Dutchman Jeremy van der Winkel and is not quite sure of qualifying for the second stage.
Cadby
The fourth highest average was for Corey Cadby. Unlike Klose, the Australian did manage to qualify for the second stage of Q-School with certainty already. Cadby threw his highest daily average (98.04) in his match at the last 64, which he won 5-1 over German Tobias Cyffka.
