The first action of the second day of the PDC Summer Series in the form of Players Championship 10 is complete with multiple players standing out so far in Milton Keynes.
One of them is
Ian White who after an early exit yesterday set the bar very high. He averaged a stunning 113, hitting 10 140's in a 6-1 win over
Cameron Menzies with two 11 darters en route.
Mensur Suljovic was also impressive hitting a 107 average against
Nick Kenny on the streaming board claiming a whitewash win to kick off his day. Also on the Streaming Board,
Nathan Aspinall picked up his first win of the week averaging 98 in defeating
Geert Nentjes 6-2.
For the two finalists yesterday,
Michael van Gerwen eased past
William O'Connor 6-2 while
Peter Wright defeated
Carl Wilkinson 6-1. Speaking of first wins, joining Aspinall is
Daryl Gurney who saw off Steve West 6-1.
Krzysztof Ratajski,
Rob Cross and
James Wade also won through their openers with
Michael Smith the only big name casualty so far losing 6-5 to a resurgent
James Wilson.
