Players Championship Order of Merit: De Decker nears top-10 after title as Evans rises over 25 spots

Mike de Decker moved up to the 13th spot on the Players Championship Order of Merit after winning the 16th Players Championship tournament of the season.
'The Real Deal' is now by far the best Belgian in the rankings. Dimitri van den Bergh (33rd), Kim Huybrechts (52nd), Andy Baetens (53rd) and Mario Vandenbogaerde (57th) are the other Belgians in the top-64 of the rankings.
Luke Humphries moves into the top 30 (29th) after his run to the latter stages. While Ricky Evans heads towards the top 20 up over 25 places from 50th to start the day. So despite losing the final it is not all doom and gloom.
A total of 125,000 pounds in prize money is distributed at each Players Championship tournament. The winner of the event will receive a check for 15,000 pounds.
After all the Players Championship tournaments, the top 64 ranked players will compete in the Players Championship Finals. This tournament from Nov. 22 to 24 will be played in Minehead.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
