Jose Marques threw a
nine-dart finish during UK
Q-School on Thursday which was the first of the tournament and also the first of the new PDC season.
The Portuguese ace who starred in the World Cup of Darts alongside Jose de Sousa hit the perfect leg during his match against Rhys Davies. He started the second leg of that tie with two 180's and then hit the 141 in a traditional route.
This was to back up a strong day which has seen him defeat Lewis Dare (6-4), Ian Lever (6-2) and Jason Askew (6-5) before defeating Davies 6-1 for a place in the final round, which means that participation in the Final Stage of Q-School is within reach.
