Price books convincing victory against Anderson and needs Van Gerwen and Aspinall to lose to make play-offs

Gerwyn Price has done his duty on the final day of the Premier League Darts league phase by beating rival Gary Anderson 8-3.

The Welshman still has a slim chance of making it to the play-offs. Price had to win himself, so the first step has been taken. The Iceman must now hope that Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall lose to Daryl Gurney and Glen Durrant respectively.

Price had no problems whatsoever with Anderson, who was no shadow of his strong form over the past week. The Scot only averaged 83.39, compared to 107.70 for his Welsh opponent.
