Gerwyn Price has been among those in action in the PDC Home Tour but like all darts players is missing the tour action and he spoke in a recent interview about what he has been doing during this time away due to Coronavirus.
Price admitted that he hasn't been practising too much because he doesn't in general and he also discussed what he thinks should happen when the PDC Tour returns.
"I'm going abit nuts but getting through it the best we can. I've almost done every job around the house so the wife is happy but I'll be glad when we're back in darts to be honest," said Price to
Red Dragon TV.
"I don't practice a lot anyway. When the tours on, it's pretty much flat out but the circumstances are a bit different now and you're just stuck at home. I try and do what I can, I don't play too much. I'm not one of the big practicers."
"Everybody's in the same boat, everybody's going to be wary at the first tournament back. It'll take one or two games and we will be back into the swing of things."
"It's just a bit awkward really, how is it going to work. People are still fighting to keep their Tour Cards and they haven't had the amount of tournaments they should have if we don't fulfill it.
"Obviously people as well who are fighting to get into TV tournaments who are just outside, how does it work for them as well. Maybe they should have a super week, 14 days flat out of Pro Tours. Give people that opportunity to fight and get into the TV tournaments at the end of the year."
