Rob Cross and Gerwyn Price have become the final two quarterfinalists at the International Darts Open. They will face off for a spot in the final four.
Cross was too strong for up-and-coming talent Josh Rock in the third round. 'Voltage' showed coolness at the two key moments midway through the match. When the score was 3-2 in Rock's favor, Cross hit 112 for the equalizer. Cross then took advantage of Rock's misses on the doubles. He did not lose a leg from there and triumphed 6-3.
In the last match of the afternoon, Price was responsible for the elimination of Mike de Decker. The Belgian dumped out Michael Smith in the previous round, but lost out 6-5 to 'The Iceman', who had a 106 average. This in a match which featured 13 180's.
