Raymond van Barneveld, Daryl Gurney and Chris Dobey among early winners at Players Championship 30

Raymond van Barneveld, Daryl Gurney and Chris Dobey are the some of the first players to secure a spot in the last 64 at Players Championship 30, the final Pro Tour tournament of the season.
Van Barneveld recorded a comfortable 6-3 victory over Nick Fullwell to qualify for the second round. Gurney whitewashed Keegan Brown, while Dobey was too strong for Connor Scutt (6-2).

Elsewhere, Luke Woodhouse, Ricky Evans and Gian van Veen all were victorious, as were Kim Huybrechts and Ryan Joyce.
In contrast, Dimitri den Bergh and Mike de Decker were eliminated by Boris Krcmar (6-5) and Mickey Mansell (6-5), respectively.
