Raymond van Barneveld hopes for big 'Barney Army' during World Series tournament in Den Bosch

A Dutch darts legend and five-time world champion, Raymond van Barneveld obviously cannot be absent from the Dutch Darts Masters in Den Bosch in January 2024.
It was recently announced by the PDC that they will host a World Series tournament in Den Bosch on January 26 and 27. It was also announced Wednesday that TOTO is attached to the event as title sponsor.
Via the channel of the TOTO Dart Kings, a professional Dutch darts team that Van Barneveld is also a part of, the 56-year-old Hague native commented on the news.
''It is of course fantastic news,'' Van Barneveld said. ''It's a great deal and a huge opportunity for all players and especially the Dutch players who can develop. Let's hope that the public will also come again in large numbers to the Maasport in Den Bosch. The best would be if they can shout Barney Army until the end of the week.''

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
