It was recently announced that a World Series tournament will be held in Den Bosch on January 26 and 27. The city in Brabant will then host the Dutch Darts Masters.
It will be a real home tournament for Michael van Gerwen, who only has to drive ten minutes from his hometown Vlijmen to the playing venue. On Wednesday, TOTO was announced as title sponsor of the event and through the channels of TOTO Dart Kings, Van Gerwen reacted to this announcement.
''Of course I'm very happy that the World Series is coming to Den Bosch,'' Van Gerwen said. ''It's almost in my backyard, so I hope you all come and watch. It will be a fantastic event and I hope to see you all there,'' the three-time world champion commented.
