The second round is complete at Players Championship 17 with a lot of big names still involved despite some early departures in the first round. Daryl Gurney, Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price and Michael Smith are into the Last 32 in Wigan.
Gurney edged out Christian Bunse in a 6-4 win; while Wright smashed in a 106 average in seeing off Ted Evetts 6-2 in one of his best performances a while which shows he's a man back in form since the World Cup.
Also through include the likes of Adrian Lewis, Glen Durrant, Krzysztof Ratajski and Dave Chisnall as the first tournament of the weekend gets to the business end at the Robin Park Tennis Centre.
