Ricky Evans, Stephen Bunting and Brian Raman joined the last 32 on Friday night at the
German Darts Open in Jena, Germany. Saturday they return to the stage for the second round.
Evans had an easy match against Alan Soutar, who disappointed with an average of just 75. Evans countered with a 95 average and an excellent 67 percent finish percentage and triumphed 6-0 against the Scot. Evans will take on Krzysztof Ratajski in the last 32.
Raman was responsible for eliminating German home player Nico Kurz. The Belgian was 6-3 too strong for Kurz and will play against Rob Cross in the next round. Bunting won 6-4 over Mickey Mansell to force a duel against his English compatriot Joe Cullen.
