Rusty-Jake Rodriguez, brother of Rowby-John, like his sibling only just missed out on a Tour Card at the tough European Q-School earlier this year.
Rodriguez has since though as a result played a lot on the ProTour due to making the numbers up and has set a goal of the World Championship after his Q-School disappointment.
"I'm a bit happy yeah but I'm still gutted that I didn't get my Tour Card really, I've played all of the ProTours so that covers my happiness as well," said Rodriguez to Tungsten Tales.
"I've been playing the best darts of my last four or five years now so I am happy I got into the ProTour and play well. I'm still missing doubles to get further and further but it's going better and better. Hopefully I can make it to the World Championship, that's my goal."
His next step will be the Challenge and Development Tour as well once more and he hopes to carry that form through.
"I'm going to practice, I'm going to keep my mindset through that. Hopefully I play like I have been playing."
