Callan Rydz has set up a second round clash against James Wade after a brilliant display to see off James Bailey to continue the second night of the 2020/21
PDC World Darts Championship.
Rydz won through 3-1 in sets with a 93.5 average and four 180's to continue a great spell over the past few months for 'The Riot' who joins fellow North East aces Ryan Joyce and Chris Dobey in moving through.
It was an excellent start for the Bedlington ace as he took the opening set with a clean sweep 3-0 with a 100 average and a 117 checkout.
Bailey though came back into the tie as Rydz couldn't continue his lead. He began with a 106 checkout and finished it off with a 115 checkout to take a clean sweep himself.
But it was Rydz who dominated himself with a third straight clean sweep to regain the upperhand.
He took out 116 to double his lead in the requisite set and claimed victory from there.
