The first round continues at the 2022/23 PDC World Darts Championship with a later start again due to the World Cup final with Nathan Aspinall the main attraction on Sunday night.
This time last year, Aspinall had a heavily taped up wrist and was fearing for his darting future. What a difference 12 months makes with 'The Asp' on the cusp of potential Premier League spots and being part of the elite again.
This after reaching two major finals this season but will know that in his second round game, he will need to keep to the task at hand with Boris Krcmar up first who on his day could trouble him with his A game.
Starting the evening is one of two Canadians with Jeff Smith winning in the PDPA Qualifier with his Tour Card firmly on the line. He faces Mike de Decker who continues to get better and better.
The second Canadian is Matt Campbell who in the opposite to that tie faces a player looking to save his spot in Danny Baggish in a USA-Canada battle.
While looking to avoid WWE antics and a DRA fine, Scott Williams will likely be more toned down tonight but still up for it as the Challenge Tour standout and ProTour winner makes his Ally Pally bow against Ryan Joyce. It all begins at 8pm.
