Schedule Saturday afternoon at Grand Slam of Darts 2023 highlighted by Beau Greaves versus Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price beginning his campaign

It's time for the Grand Slam of Darts 2023. Saturday afternoon, the first pool matches in Groups B, D, F and H are scheduled at the tournament in Wolverhampton.

Several major winners from this year are thrust straight into the action in the opening session including the likes of UK Open champ Andrew Gilding, Masters champion Chris Dobey, World Matchplay winner Nathan Aspinall, Women's World Matchplay Champion Beau Greaves and Wales' World Cup of Darts winning duo Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price.

Prodigious talent Gian van Veen will make his tournament debut against Ryan Searle, a potentially crucial one in the battle for second place in Group D, as the Dutchman and Englishman are in a pool with Gerwyn Price and Nathan Rafferty, who meet to finish off the afternoon.

Andrew Gilding begins his participation in the Grand Slam of Darts against Brendan Dolan. Earlier in the afternoon, 'Goldfinger' can watch how group mates Danny Noppert and Haruki Muramatsu fare in their duel with each other.

Jonny Clayton will be up against the winner of this year's Challenge Tour, Berry van Peer. For "Bionic," it will be his first appearance at the Grand Slam of Darts since 2017. At the time, Van Peer was struggling with a severe form of dartitis and it was very evident during his matches. Despite all the drama that took place on stage, Van Peer managed to qualify for the knockout stage.

To match that performance, Van Peer could use a result against Clayton. After all, the Dutchman is also in the group with Chris Dobey and Josh Rock. The afternoon session opens with a showdown between Damon Heta and Ricardo Pietreczko. They are together in a group with Nathan Aspinall and Beau Greaves, who will compete against each other later in the afternoon. For Greaves, it will be her debut at the Grand Slam of Darts. She will face the man who was a losing finalist here last year.
