Scott Waites loses despite nine-darter against George Killington; Boris Krcmar and Martin Lukeman also into second round

George Killington has reached the second round of a European Tour tournament for the first time in his career. 'The Killer' conceded a nine-darter against Scott Waites, but emerged victorious at the German Darts Championship in Hildesheim.
A 14-darter and a 112 finish allowed Killington to lead 4-2, but Waites came back to 4-4. Then 'Scotty 2 Hotty' managed to throw a nine-darter to lead 5-4.

However, Waites missed two match darts in the tenth leg, after which Killington secured the 5-5 lead with a 96 finish. In the deciding leg Waites again missed two matchdarts, after which Killington hit his first matchdart.
Boris Krcmar qualified for the second round of the Euro Tour tournament in Hildesheim at the expense of Ryan Joyce. The Croatian was 6-4 too strong for Joyce. Martin Lukeman defeated Madars Razma 6-5 after an exciting match.
